Community Ambassador
Washington DC, Maryland & Virginia
This is not a high pressure sales job. There are no quotas. No scripts. No corporate nonsense. This role is about one thing: relationships.
If you’re someone who knows people in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia business community and you genuinely want to help those businesses get protected, keep reading.
What You’ll Do
You’ll connect Capital Cyber with businesses that need real cybersecurity help. That means introducing us to decision makers, attending local business events, and being a trusted voice in the community.
The businesses we serve include:
- Government contractors navigating CMMC compliance
- Manufacturers in the defense supply chain
- Construction companies doing Department of Defense work
- CPA firms handling sensitive financial data
These are companies that know they need better security but don’t know where to start. You’ll be the person who helps them take that first step.
What You Need
Integrity. That’s the big one.
Beyond that, we’re looking for someone with genuine connections in the DMV business community and a desire to help companies get the protection they deserve. You do not need technical or cybersecurity experience. We handle all of that. You just need to care about doing the right thing and know how to build trust with people.
Compensation
This is a flexible, performance based role with strong earning potential. It is not a salaried position. The more businesses you connect us with, the more you earn. We’ll talk specifics when we chat.
About Capital Cyber
Capital Cyber is a cybersecurity firm that provides IT services, not the other way around. We were founded after our team watched a $500K ransomware attack destroy a business. That experience shaped everything we do.
Today we protect government contractors, manufacturers, construction companies, and small businesses across the country. We have 24 years of combined IT experience and 100% client retention. Every client who has ever worked with us still works with us.
